We can help the next generation to have a lifetime of beautiful skin without the problems if we just teach them the values of living a healthy lifestyle, and to perform adequate skin care daily.
It is best if we can teach them to apply sunscreen everyday as part of their daily routine. If the older generation could they would revisit their teenage years and tell their younger self to put on sunscreen.
The UVA and the UVB rays emitted from the sun are the chief causes of the majority of skin cancers today. The UVA rays are blamed for the photo aging of the skin, while the UVB rays are blamed for the nasty sunburns you get from overexposure to them. As responsible adults it is important that we teach the younger generation the importance of proper skin care and the prevention of damage from the rays of the sun. We have to make certain that we teach them to pay attention to the ingredients that are in the products they choose to use for this protection.
We should instruct the younger generation early on to be aware of the products contents. There are many products that have labels that say they are good for your skin, and will help you to prevent damages, and a lot of these products contain harmful ingredients that will in the long run do far more damage than they did good for them. Young people should be made aware that the best products they can buy for their skin are the products produced from all natural ingredients that are safe for every day purposes.
The best way we can go about teaching the next generation of the importance of properly caring for their skin is to lead by example. When we are preparing to leave the home we should be applying sunscreens. At the end of the day we should be applying natural cleansers to remove all of the day's dirt, grime, and makeup that could cause us to get pores that are clogged up. We need to make sure that the products we use are natural and pure. We also need to show the younger generation what good foods full of antioxidants can do for us.
Having beautiful looking skin is more than just an inherited trait, it takes a healthy diet, plenty of hydration, and plenty of exercise, in conjunction with a skin care routine that is done daily.
